Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter don't detect my TV.

Hello,

I recently bought a new thunderbolt to HDMI adapter but when I plug in, my screen make black screen a second, then when I want to select ma display in the parameters, I don't find my display..

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)
